Installing luxury appliances requires more precision and expertise than standard units. Proper installation protects your investment and ensures optimal performance from day one.

Professional installation is strongly recommended for built-in refrigerators like Sub-Zero. These units require precise leveling, adequate ventilation space, and proper electrical and plumbing connections.

Gas ranges require licensed installers who understand local codes and the specific requirements of high-BTU professional-style equipment.

Ventilation systems for professional ranges must match the range's output. A Wolf or Viking range paired with an undersized hood will result in poor air quality and grease accumulation.

Electrical requirements for luxury appliances often exceed standard circuits. Verify that your electrical panel can support the new appliance and that dedicated circuits are available.

Water lines for ice makers and water dispensers should use braided stainless steel connectors rather than plastic. This prevents leaks and ensures adequate water flow.

Allow for maintenance access when planning installations. Built-in units need occasional service, and technicians need room to work.

Test all functions before your installers leave. Run the refrigerator, make ice, test all burners, and verify oven temperatures.

Keep installation documentation for warranty purposes. Many warranties require professional installation to remain valid.

If replacing existing appliances, measure carefully to ensure new units will fit existing cutouts. Custom cabinetry modifications may be necessary for different sizes.
